Great campground. Loved the location, some of the trees have low branches, watch out 5th wheels. There are sprinklers that turn 🛞 n over the week, but not the weekends.
So much to do here, swim, boating, fishing, soccer and more.
I would recommend it for any campers.
I recently visited Daroga State Park and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with the park's natural beauty and serene atmosphere. The views were absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the park's pristine surroundings.
One thing that stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness throughout the park. The grounds were exceptionally well-maintained, and the campground itself was spotless. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in keeping the park clean and inviting for visitors.
Speaking of the campground, it was a true gem. With well-spaced campsites and plenty of amenities, it provided a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. The restroom facilities were also impeccably clean, which is always a pleasant surprise when camping.
The staff at Daroga State Park were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were always available to answer questions and provide assistance whenever needed. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for the park were evident, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the convenient check-in time. Arriving at 2:30 allowed me to settle in and start my adventure without any delays or hassles. It's clear that the park management values visitor convenience and aims to make the check-in process as smooth as possible.
It was a great place to spend time together with community. Camp ground is near the main road with beautiful view of Columbia river. I rode my bike around to the park in the morning, was nice experience!
Really nice park -- lots of shade, picnic tables, plenty of parking. Very nicely maintained. The views are really spectacular.
Beautiful grounds except the Goat Head Vine growing in the grass. It was hot with winds from time to time.
We camped at the walk in site. Awesome spot close to the water. Very clean and well maintained. Be prepared for wind! Each site has a windbreak which we needed! Thankfully we had lulls in the wind.
Such a wonderful campground! Very clean, peaceful, and lots of fun!
Personally I would never camp at the individual campsite, although first come first serve is always great. I'm not a fan of parking far away and then having to transfer all of my gear in a wagon. The group campsites, particularly site B, is phenomenal if you expect a large group!! Perfect for a family reunion or just a bunch of friends getting together because you get your own private shelter, fire pit and bathrooms.
